The View From The Front Porch

While we don’t live on the family homestead we spend a lot of time helping out Nana and Papa as they tend to the gardens, the orchard, the berry patches, and the chickens. There’s always something to tend to be it planting, weeding harvesting, or preserving what comes out of the ground. This past year we added livestock to the homestead in the form of several chickens and some Guinea fowl. That was an adventure that would fill several blogs in and of itself. But I wanted to get something on the page in the event someone happens to stumble across our blog before we actually go live and invite the world to come and check out our crazy life.
